Hey friends! I have to say that the immense overwhelm & emotions swirling around these days is just A LOT! I know that I myself have been experience a myriad of things every single day.

But experiencing overwhelm, especially in a time like this is so incredibly normal. But even though it’s normal, it doesn’t mean we have to stay there or suffer through endlessly.

We are layered & complex human beings that have an immense capacity to BE & being in our whole selves means engaging with the various parts of ourselves.

Processing our emotions on a regular basis, but especially during great times of change & transition helps us navigate the inner world of our psyche, feelings, emotions, traumas, behavior, spirit, higher self, soul...all the things!

But how do you actually process overwhelm? Rather than just sitting in it and feeling like it’s overtaking all of your being…what steps can you take to move through it and understand what’s going on? To get to the source of your overwhelm?

That’s what we’re covering in today’s episode! I’ve had quite a bit of emotions and feelings and overwhelm in my life…and even still during all this change and transition. And in order to not lose my sh*t, I’ve had to develop a process that could help me.

So in today’s episode, I’m sharing a simple process & activity you can do to get to the heart of what you’re experiencing when you’re overwhelmed or feel taken over by your emotions. I’ll share personal examples from my very own journal & I’ll walk you through how you can do all of this yourself as well.

So get your journal ready! This is going to be a good one!

DIVE DEEPER: Manage Your Emotions Checklist and Join me LIVE all month for a special deep dive on this topic in community with other mamas. You’ll be a master at this process by the end of the month!

Want to really get to the root of your overwhelm?

start by talking to yourself and your feelings as I shared in this episode! Haha!

But for real tho, step 3 in our 4 step process for managing your emotions in difficult times, is to Listen To & Dialogue With Your Feelings…you actually need to talk to yourself and your feelings to get to the root!

Doing this process for myself has helped me uncover so much wisdom and knowledge that my feelings possess. We’ve definitely been conditioned to suppress and ignore our feelings…to even be afraid of them. But it’s important to know that when we suppress these things, we’re suppressing our deeper knowing and the healing waiting for us on the other side.

So I want to encourage you to take the time to learn this process I go through and then DO IT YOURSELF!

If you gave your feelings the floor to speak, what would they say?

Now, I would love to hear from you.
